I recently undertook a project to redesign the cover of a banned book, specifically To Kill a Mockingbird. As part of the project, I carefully read and analyzed the book to gain a deeper understanding of its themes and symbolism, which I then used to create several illustrations that I believed effectively captured the essence of the novel. The project presented a unique challenge that allowed me to showcase my creative abilities. The use of negative space, appropriate typeface and colors can significantly impact the overall design and help convey the intended emotions effectively. It's great to hear that your final design was able to meet the project's criteria for a successful redesign.
